Bench Collection Necklace

I had a custom order for a Bench Collection Necklace and the customer used one of my other necklaces as an example of what she wanted ... but she used the word "recreate."  I struggled with this for a week and finally realized that I just needed to get started.  The nature of the necklace is that it is inspired by the things around me ... the challenge of creating a piece from things within sight.  I know that this customer likes blue and from there it was anybody's guess.

I love this piece.  I think it is the best one I've done.  I hope my customer likes it.  I want to share it with you.

Such a gorgeous necklace....what's not to like? The metal focal is beautiful and it all comes together so well. I'm sure your customer will be over the moon when she sees it.

Barbara, I really like the way all the parts come together....the ribbon charm is fun, and the yellow does give it a fun shot of color, and I love that focal piece of metal! Your customer will love it, I'm sure. :)

Wow Barbara - what a great piece. I love the variety of texture and color. Isn't it great when it all comes together and looks like you planned it that way, especially when there wasn't a plan to begin with?

It is a fantastic piece, Barbara!!! Love the enamel on the focal and that sea blue (?) bead on the left. I imagine the "yellow" beads are maybe really green?
I remember how much I loved the idea of your Bench Collection piece when you first posted it. And wanted to try it myself. Now would be a good time - my bench really needs some organizing...
