This is how we entertain ourselves at the Painting with Fire Studio ...
Yes, this is "Poe," my son's new kitty. He's only about 9 weeks old and very small. We watched him as he struggled and conquered the climb to the top of the wire dress form. Before we knew it, he had gotten himself "inside the lady!" Of course, he couldn't get out. Pulling the wires apart helped him escape.
While I was writing this post, I thought, "Sometimes we need to approach our studios with the curiosity of a kitten." This is when "happy accidents" occur. Make a pledge to yourself to spend "playtime" in your studio next week ... it needn't be long. I'll share my discoveries with you next Saturday. Maybe you can share yours with me?

How adorable is Poe?
I'll treasure the memory of sharing (side by side) discoveries with you! I'm heading down to the hole to do some blues today! Hope there is a happy discovery! FIRE IN THE HOLE! Have a wonderful day!
I'm hoping to get some time this week to spend some play time. My DIL is coming and we're taking a class that includes some enameling and I hope then we'll have time to 'play' with what we make in the class for a 'happy accident' or two. Will watch to see what you come up with.
Happy accidents are wonderful indeed and Sweet Poe is just precious.Thank you for the reminder dear friend,Cat
So David got a cat! How sweet. Still laughing about Poe inside the wire dress form! I've been playing with lots of new things, too. Can't wait to see what you've been working on.
What a cute kitty! Having too many cats to count myself, that image of sweet little Poe inside the wire dress form feels very familiar... *lol*
This made me smile :)
Thanks for posting such a fun little story!

Inspired by you as always Barbara! Love the picture of poor "caged" Poe.
