Lilac Bangle
It seems weird that amidst the devastating loss of life and sorrow the Japanese people are experiencing that I can write about my Lilac bracelet being in a Treasury ... but here it is. I woke up thinking that at any moment, for reasons out of my control, my life could take a dangerous turn for the worst. Praise God that today I am alive, well, and with family.

Yes, life goes on and it is incredibly frightening and fragile sometomes. Your bracelet represents that to a degree, but represents beuty also that can be found everywhere.
This is so true isn't it? I felt the same way when 9-11 happened. Even though I live in the USA, Texas seemed a world away from the tragedy and deep sadness.....
The Japanese are such strong people. To see their faces in spite of their losses makes us think really long and hard about our world, and if it doesn't, it should.
