Life is funny!

Do you ever feel your life is like an episode of Seinfeld?

If not Seinfeld, then how 'bout The Simpsons?

That's exactly how I felt when I heard this announcement over the loud speaker at the Washington Bead Society Bead Bazaar on Saturday ...

"In fifteen minutes, Barbara Lewis will be doing a torch-firing demonstration in Room C."

"Is that Jim?" ... I said ... "THAT'S JIM!"  I started laughing so hard I had to wipe away the tears.  I guess the inside joke about this is how proud my husband is of me.  He's always been like that.  One time, when we were first married, I noticed that a bunch of our party guests had disappeared.  I started searching for them in a 2-bedroom apartment, which didn't take long.  I found them in my bedroom with Jim pulling clothes from my closet saying, "She made this and she made that."  You gotta love him! Really, though, Jim needs to be on this show ...

Have a great day everybody!

More Art from the Fire!

I had a chuckle last night when I was working with these photographs.  It seemed as though nearly every name I came up with was reminiscent of good times.  Like "Dusty Springfield,"  I mean, really!  And, the letter pendants ... all I could think about was Sesame Street.  By the time I got to "Festivus," I nearly roared in laughter!  Some of you Seinfeld fans will remember that one.  Actually, Wikipedia has a pretty good entry on it.

I'll be listing these at my website, plus I have some other neat pendants that are like the Dandelion earrings.  They are enamel pendants with images of antique dress forms, vintage Underwood typewriters, 1935 deodorant commercials ... yes you heard me right!  I'm still laughing!
