eCourse Introduction: Studio Walkthrough

Over the past year, I've received requests to teach Painting with Fire Workshops from so many nice people across the country.  I wish I could have accepted them all because I love to teach AND have a serious case of wanderlust! So, I did the next best thing!  I've created a ning group for an Online Painting with Fire Workshop where you can view the videos when you want and how often you want! You say you live in Latvia? No problem! Ah, the beauty of the internet!

I LOVE THE NING GROUP FORMAT for so many reasons!

  • It's interactive!
  • Members have their own page!
  • Photos from the group greet you as you log in!
  • Online chats are our Q&A sessions!
  • Comments scroll down the sidebar!

The workshop details, along with the winner, will be announced on Monday.  But until then, for a little fun, let's take a walk through my studio ... as it is!

  6. Love your studio; it's a true working space and the natural light is terrific. Wonderful how you have the various dedicated work stations. It was nice to see realistic photos of a studio that is actually used instead of something that is pretty and pristine :)

  13. Barbara, I am happy to see you are offering your class online now. I know it will reach even more eager-to-learn students. I know this has been in the works for some time now and can only imagine all of the preparation it took behind the scenes. Speaking of behind the scenes, what a great studio tour video! It was nice to hear your voice again and walk through your space. This is your new studio in Fl, right? WOW what a set up - really a dream, with stations dedicated to everything from photo staging (loved the painted board photo prop idea) to metal work. Your in-person students are really in for some in-depth learning with a hands on studio like this. Maybe one day I'll make it to St. Pete! :-)
I mentioned your new course on FB... thanks for the give away opportunity! :-)

  34. Barbara, you so amazing and energy level to boot. I love the idea of enameling and someday I will get there. I loved seeing your studio. It is reassuring to see that all creative people have organization that no one else would ever understand. I cleaned my studio all last weekend and I still can't see it. Anyway, best of luck with your new adventure. I think online is a wonderful way to touch everyone. Can't wait to see it unfold.
