Tales from Art and Soul/Portland

Nine days in Portland, four workshops as a teacher, one workshop as a student, and a Vendor event!  No wonder I'm tired!  As I wait for our flight back to Maryland, I thought you might like to see what some of the ladies in the "Treasured Snippets" workshop made.

Before I do that, I want to mention that Wednesday, October 5, kicks off the Virtual Book Tour for Torch-Fired Enamel Jewelry: a Workshop in Painting with Fire, which is an "online best seller," according to the publisher.  Please make sure to check back because we're going to have 16 days worth of prizes!   Some of your favorite bloggers will be participating, so please check back on Wednesday!

    Wow, double wow! Amazing bracelets!
    Congrats on the book tour...not a surprise to me it's a wonderful book. I'm looking forward to spending time with my copy and painting with my torch!

    Hi Barbara...Amazing..:( i wish i didn't live so far away i would love to take a workshop...i can't wait to get my kit..i have revamped my studio to make room for another station..i'll let you know when it arrives!

    HI Barbra
    I had a blast in your Painting with fire class!! on my way home I stopped at a hardware store and bought a canister of map gas, so you know what I have been doing!
    I will be needing to order some more enamel soon! I need more colors!

    Wow, with that schedule and coming on the heels of beadfest and getting a book published, It's a wonder you can function much less be tired! I can't wait to start the book blog tour! WooHoo! Breacelets are wonderful!

    Barbara, it looks like a truly memorable time... Wow, 9 days out West! And so many classes! Sounds like a lot of juggling but the good kind. The bracelets by your students are all so varied and each unique. I know they learned a lot from you!! I hope you're home safe and sound - and recuperating. :-)
