Say "hello" to the extremely talented Jen Judd Velasquez!

But, before we do that, let's announce the winner of these wonderful pieces by LeAnn of Summers Studio.  The winner is ....

Kay, please contact LeAnn for your prize.

Thank you all for following us on the Virtual Book Tour for Torched Fired Enamel Jewelry as we visit the "kitchen studio" of  Jen Judd Velasquez.  Jen's going to take some excuses away today ... and we have more prizes!

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Jen.   I had no idea she was so damned funnY!  OMG!  That girl makes by face hurt from laughing so much.  Jen took the Painting with Fire Workshop and a few months later took the Enamel Explorations Workshop, which was a reunion of former students!  It really doesn't get any better than that!

Take a look at the necklace Jen has created as a giveaway at her stop on the Virtual Book Tour for my book.  I see some great enameling here!  As I move around the piece, I spy some very unique and well-made bead caps that hug her gorgeous enamel beads.  The antique bronze metal is a beautiful contrast to her purple/lavender/mauve theme :-)   Someone's going to be very lucky!

Let's draw a second winner ... for these decal pendants!

Remember, you're at the Virtual Book Tour for this book!

  1. Awesome! I left out all the details about burning a hole in my carpet, but I still believe I have the best setup ever! THANKS for letting me be a part of your painted world!

  2. Barbara, I ordered the book yesterday, can't wait to receive it. I just commented on Jen's post today. Loved her "studio tour". As I said in the post, I'm ashamed to say that I bought a kit from you last year and haven't pulled it out to use it yet. I'm going to rectify that this weekend! I've really enjoyed the book blog hop so far.

  4. I love the little bird and branch I won. And I'm really enjoying all the reviews. I've already read Jen's review and realized how easy it would be to set up an area. I thought it would be much harder and take more room. I'm trying to get by my book store this week to find your book.
(I'm a follower of your blog, too and really enjoy all your posts.)

  5. A beautiful piece! As a jewelry maker I feel I need to use all my beads to make money, so I rarely make anything for myself. I would be so excited to win this lovely necklace!

I have to let you know that I have really enjoyed this blog hop. Thanks so much for being a great host!

  6. Hi Barbara! I have enjoyed your virtual book tour so much! It has definitely given me a few ideas to try! I carry a magnet around with me looking for victims to try enameling on.......I stole some washers from my hubby the other day, and tried to enamel them, one turned out pretty good, the other on is kind of flaking.......still having fun!
I am a follower of your blog, of course!

  8. Barbara I need to thank you. I have been trying to keep up with this tour and all the wonderful artists you have on it. They have all given so many views, hints and tips to this glorious art that I am thinking I would so like to have a go at it someday. I work primarily with seed beads but love adding touches of art beads to it especially metals. I have put this awesome book and kit on my wish list and hope that I will have it someday. Thank you so much for sharing your artistic talents with all of us!
