Mary Jane has used one of the techniques from the book ... the no-solder bezel ... to create this gorgeous piece. A hole is punched in the metal and the sides are raised to create the bezel. ReplyDeleteI pre-ordered the book (& now have it). I bought the kit from you and attended your demo at Beadfest. I bought my MAPP gas. All that's left to do is set up a fireproof table and start painting with FIRE! I'm really looking forward to doing it, especially after meeting you, and watching you - it really does look easy, but that's probably because you were doing it!

ReplyDeleteHey, we love what ya'll are doing with the enamels - beautiful and inventive. Have any of you tried painting directly with fire? My husband and I flame paint copper just with a torch. We get intricate patterns and colors on copper with the torch...Skip has been called the father of flame painting. Check out our website.
