Book Cover!

"Torch-Fired Enamel Jewelry: a Workshop in Painting with Fire"

While I try to find my camera so I can post the photos of yesterday's scene at the Tucson Bead Show, I thought I'd share with you the cover of my book.  I know the fonts will undergo some change, but the rest of the cover will remain the same.

It was a challenge for the designers to impart a feeling of fire without actually having a flame in the photo.  My daughter says it's like the glow of a fireplace.  When I opened my email and saw it for the first time, I had a visceral reaction ...  I felt flushed, had goosebumps, a dry mouth, and a lump in my throat.  Sounds like stage fright doesn't it!

The first week of August is the release date, which will conclude an 18-month process unlike anything I've ever experienced before! ... but in a good way. :- )

Congrats - looks wonderful, I can't wait for it. I am so glad you are coming out with a book. Sigh, you were so close to Vegas but I already had plans and work to do so could not sign up for your Tuscon class! I hope you do Art and Soul in Vegas some year so we can actually MEET!
