Vergata Rayon Ribbon

For about six months now I've been working with this great variegated rayon fiber called "Vergata."  It is what I used in the "Autumn Bliss" necklace for Handcrafted Jewelry.  It is incredibly silky smooth ... perfect for around the neck ... a sensitive area.  The colors are scrumptious and the price ... very affordable at $6.00 for 12 yards.  You'll find it at my website.  But, just to tempt you a little, here is the crayon box of colors.

Happy Jungle

Into the West

Muddy Jeans

Picking Wild Berries

Rhubarb Pie

School Colors

Sedona

Texas Lupines

Hmmm, where did I put those fibers I found at the flea market?...

Oh I LOVE that stuff. Beautiful colors and I guess I shouldn't have called it "stuff" but I think you'll forgive me. :) It would look interesting on a handbag or clutch. Hmm... I'll check it out.

Wow. Gorgeous. Now I wonder... how do they twist that stuff up so tight and when you attempt to crack into it it is like a loaded spring? And it expands to like 20x its original size? I can't wait to see more of this stuff. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the day! Erin

Thanks to all of you for visiting me today. In response to Erin, it must be like the pantyhose with the control top, control thighs, control butt ... your husband has to stand 10 ft. back when you take them off!

That's some scrumptious stuff! The knitter in me wants to just roll around in it!

Just beautiful, Barbara! I can see how it would be the icing on the cake in a jewlery project. I had to laugh at your comment comparing it to control-top pantyhose!!! :-)
